Hi there, I am having an issue with the USB port in both my Yamaha WXC-50 and RX-V679. A USB 2.0 32gb flash drive works perfectly in both, but not a 128 gb one, formatted in the same way. The 32 is 2.0 and the 128 is 3.0, but still backwards compatible with 2.0. I have researched and can't find much about the compatibility with USB drives, other than it takes 2.0. My question is what is the largest capacity 2.0 that can be used with the Yamaha AVR and Preamp??

Thank you all!!

doesn't matter whether it's 2.0 or 3.0 USB flash drive, the maximum drive size is 32GB in FAT format for Yamaha AVR's.

Thank you very much Ponzio for that clarification, I could have spent the next 3 weeks trying out and formating different USB drives. Hahahahhaha

recommend also placing the tracks in a folder(s). for some reason there's a quicker recognition time, per Yamaha tech support; which is true. file structure matters.
