When I call them, there is generally a bit of a wait to speak to an operator ( 5 or 10 minutes) depending on how busy they are. They can normally route you to a specialist right away, again another 5 or 10 minute wait, times can vary. Tier one support can answer most basic questions. If you need tier two support, that means a call back, normally within 24 hours. I have not had to deal with them for defective equipment that I needed to return or get repaired.....knock on wood.. Overall I would rate them pretty good. There is a guy by the name of Ken, in tier two support who is excellent. He takes home the latest gear and plays with it to get familiar. Last time I spoke with him, I believe he said he had the 3070.

Just to update everyone, Yamaha Customer Support is shipping Roger a new RX-A3080 as soon as they receive his RX-A3080. I believe they sent Roger the pre-paid UPS shipping label and box.

The Adventure of Roger continues.... :D

Don’t count your chickens before they are hatched is what I always say.

Sounds good, I’ll believe it when I see it.
