Yamaha S1500

Does anyone have a review of Yamaha's new SACD - DVD-A. Or have a opinion on this yet. S1500

I just purchased an S1500 a few weeks ago. The SACD output is fantastic. I am playing in through a Yamaha RX-V1500. The DVD output is quite good as well although my unit will skip forward if there is any dirt on the DVD. I have had to clean all of my DVD's and they seem to work fine once I make sure there is no debris. I don't know if anyone else has had this problem-the unit seems very sensitive.

I bought this player and i returned it later because l found the unit to slow to open its tray, the remote was poorly layed out (slow forward/rev and skip forward/rev in the same button) remote control. Layer change was noticeable. Picture quality was good but could have been better.

I swapped it for a Denon 3910 and this player is amazing. The specs speak for themselves. Buy this if you have the $$$ or get the Denon 2910.
