Yamaha RXV-1500 US vs UK?

Hi,

I live in South Africa, but would like to buy an RVX-1500 from overseas, online... as the prices are much better (Locally the RXV-1400 costs the equivalent of about $1300!)

I'd just like t know if anyone can help be clear up a few issues...I was going through the RVX-1500 manual an it says that only the UK and Europe versions of the receiver have RDS. Is this true? Don't the US version have the RDS features for the tuner?

Secondly, it looks like the receiver have a 110V / 220V voltage selector... can anyone confirm this? (As we use 220V here is South Africa)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My RX-V1400 does have a voltage selector (i live in Mexico City). I think this is the international version and it doesn't have Zone 3. By the way, what is RDS?. Because my receiver doesn't have this.

You will likely find what you are looking for in there. Lots of plug variations and power variations are available on the unit depending on the specific model.
