Yamaha RX-Z9

<font color='#000000'>My quest for a great receiver brings me to Yamaha's top of the line receiver RX-Z9. &nbsp;Does anyone own it and have any information on it. &nbsp;The 2400 has many messages but this receiver seems to have none. &nbsp;I suppose it is the price of about $4500 but I would appreciate any info anyone has. &nbsp;Thanks.</font>

<font color='#000000'>I called up Yamaha last week because I'm also in the market for a new receiver and they said this week or before the holidays. Also they said that the dealers might not be able to display one because the first shipment is for people who preordered them.</font>

<font color='#728FCE'>I don't understand. I have seen many places proposing to sell the Yamaha RX-Z9. Street price seems to be approx. 3700$. Even on E-Bay a few times.

Are they selling 'Futureware'?</font>

almost a dozen different pieces of their equipment, but $4500.00 for ANY receiver is simply too much. At this price point, there are a number of separates available which will
offer more in the way of set-up and control flexibility.</font>
