Hello,
I also have Yamaha DSP-Z9 , most likely, with firmware error.
Main CPU incorrectly measures voltages from thermal sensors, so fans are always off even after long work time. ADC value in diagnostic menu is 143 for all 3 inputs. According to service manual, all ADC values are percents from 5V ADC reference voltage. So 143% from 5V are more than 5V

All hardware works well. Real voltage on CPU ADC pins are about 1.38V. This is ~27% of 5V . According to service manual , this must be from 5 to 24 %.
There is also "hardware" "half" solution of this error. Original DSP-Z9 fans are noisy 12V fans. So it is possible to change them to 24V fans and supply them from 12V or 16V voltage which are in DSP-Z9 power supply. Main minus in this case that fans are always on, with reduced voltage ( and noise ). It is also possible to make fan control with small additional controller ( analog or with some microcontroller ) instead of main CPU.
But since all fan control is already made , it's better fix it
Another error is : "Zone2" indicator is always on.
I also have service manual for DSP-Z9. If anybody needs it, I can sent.
File size - 30.5 MB.
Can anybody help with service software ?
Best regards
Darius
