I bought an open box rx-z7 from my local best buy got it for 400.00. The remote that they gave me appears to be for one of the new avantage rx2000 receivers so there is alot of functions. That I can't do. I called the store up. And the only one they have. Is a rav383. Remote which I think is for the rx1900 to where the Z7. Uses a rav389 they look the same. Does anybody know if the rav383 will work. Cause i cant really do anything change inputs turn it on and off etc. I do not wanna spnd 120 for a new one and wait 4-6 weeks for it. Any help would be great.
