I've an old Yamaha RX-V870 given to me recently.
Its connected to a pair of JBL TLX180.
but when I tested it, the sound was fantastic but the sound was inbalanced.
That is the Left side was very much softer than the Right.
I've checked the cables and the speakers with another Amplifier and they worked fine.
So, its down to the RX-V870.
I checked the configuration on the set as well as the downloaded manual and played around with the config.
I switched off all DSP effects, reset all Balance, Bass-extension Bass and treble as well as the Tone bypass controls.
But its inbalanced whenever the tone bypass is switched off.
but inconsistently balanced when the tone bypass is switch on.
Dear Yamaha avids, May I know what's the problem.
