Hello I have had a Yamaha Rx-V740 for about 2 years now. Love the sound quality but I really don't know much about the settings. I was trying to decipher the hand book but I am still lost. Any help from anyone would be great.
I have the RXV740
1 sub (made by Energy)
5 speakers (made by Energy)
I don't really know how to use the surround sound. I use the channel stereo a lot but when I push the #12 button on my remote (which says 6.1/5.1) I get a on screen display that says "6.1/5.1 Auto: ---) I have no clue if that means it is going to work or what. My main goal is to watch Football with Surround sound.
Please help
I am not really great on the lingo so please make it as easy as possible... thank you..
