Hello everyone.....hope you are all well.
So, I understand that with this AV receiver you can have either the front presence speakers OR the rear surrounds playing at any one time.
My question is this......how does the receiver know which channel to activate?
If I have both the front presence and the rear surrounds connected......which one is used?
Does the receiver decide that based on the audio input say from a 4k movie or is it up to the user to decide.....is it a manual process that the user does?
Let's say I'm watching the LOTR trilogy on 4k.......does the receiver switch from front presence during a certain scene then switch to rear surrounds for a different scene?
I don't really understand it.
