Yamaha RX-V573 receiver connection to DCX 2496

I have the above receiver, and I just picked up the behringer dcx2496, for now I will be using it for my sub only, which will be powered using behringer 2500.

I wanted to ask what output I should use from the yamaha receiver to connect to the DCX?

Ther are the following outputs on the receiver
1) Digital Optical
2) Digital coaxial
3) Analog stereo
4) Sub-output

It will have to be the sub out to the DCX. RCA to XLR.

Why are you using this for the sub or what exactly are you trying to do? The BFD (Behringer Feedback Destroyer), which is also not a sub EQ, but that is what a lot of people use it for.

Using it to boost sub-out signal as well as an eq for my sub, in the future I am sure I will get more use out of it when I add in additional amps for my mains and center.

I have only read good things about it here on the forum.
