OK.. first time user.. so be gentle. This wknd I had to disconnect my home theatre to get some carpet work done. I put it all back together, but now the cable TV audio/video is cutting out. Here's the components:
- Yamaha RX-V565
- Samsung LED
- Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300HD (from COX Cable)
- Klipsch surround sound and floor speakers
- Rockfish HDMI cables
All my devices (cable box, apple tv2 and blu-ray player) are setup the same way.. using HDMI into the receiver. I have tried various HDMI cable/HDMI receiver port/device combinations and in all cases everything works except the cable TV. So I figured it was the cable box.. But... if I bypass the receiver and run HDMI directly from cable box to TV it works fine.
So it appears that my receiver has a problem with the cable TV feed or device... sound feasible or am I missing something here?
Any help you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated.
