I recently bought the discountinued rx-v563 (display unit) at a very good price. My speakers are a 5.1 channel Jamo A102 set (entry satellite speakers) and use it mainly for playing blue rays. But the rx-v563 does not support DTS-HD and Dolby True HD which the new rx-v465 does.
I'm tossing between keeping the rx-v563 or swapping it for rx-v465 but i that would probably set me back another $100+. Given my current speaker set up, would I be able notice a tangible difference between the DTS-ES and DTS-HD formats?
Is the sound improvement worth the $100+??
