Hello, not sure if this is right place to post but,Ill try . Last night buddy knocked over a beer on my remote for amp and am wondering if theres a way to program advanced set up on amp itself (WITHOUT) using remote.I read manual, but it really only shows how to using remote. Im looking to be able to change slp, lfe, etc etc settings.Yamaha is closed till monday and would like to be able to use it till i get a new remote .Thanks for any help. .....Also i tried a few other remotes i had laying around and didnt work .:)

Remote options

Remove the batteries and let the remote dry out for a few days. Put and a fresh set of batteries and the Yamaha remote might work.

If not, you can get a web programable remote like one of the harmony remotes and should be able to perform all of the same setup functions and control all of your other gear.

An easy way to test the setup features without the remote is to try it yourself using the buttons on the front of the receiver.

Good advice so far from jcPanny.
If I may add a little.
You should take the remote apart and rinse it out with water. (take out the batteries)
I know it sounds counterintuitive, but all circuit boards are washed off when manufactured. You have to remove the beer residue from beneath the rubber dome switches.
If, on the other hand, you tried to use the remote while it was wet with beer. It may be ruined.
So jcPanny's plan B, is also a good choice.
