Have been impressed with 2700 so far in most aspects except for three:
1.The HDMI i/o are vertically mounted and fall out easily.
2. The "Network receiver" portion sucks. After 2 weeks of frustration, I gave up and bought a Squeezebox.
3. The GUI will not overlay ontop of an HDMI video source. Not a big deal in itself, but it's annoying as it stumbles and flickers from GUI to video source and back. This also happens with the Net/USB menus as well.
On the plus side, the GUI is well laid out, and easy to navigate. The amps are a good match for my Klipsch and the soundfields have come a long way from my original 13 yr old RXV1050.
For my budget I'd still get the 2700.
