Hey, kage. I'm no headphone expert, but I'd say that you'd be fine.
First, I think that my brother has those headphones, and I also think that he had them connected to the headphone jack on his Mac - and he's always been very happy with them.
Second, the description on the manufacturer's site states that the HD650s, "Can be directly connected to stationary hi-fi components of the highest quality, in particular SACD, DVD-A and CD players".
Just my thoughts. I saw that you weren't getting any responses, so I figured that I'd put this up and maybe spark some other thoughts on this.
