Excuse my English as a translator. I need to ask you: my Yamaha rx-A730 starts well, but the icons of the speakers do not appear on the screen and the speakers take 15 minutes to warm up for a few minutes to sound. go out. What will be the problem: a defective weld? The contacts of the dirty relays? or some component that until it is not heated does not work well ' I am open to your advice and thank you, I come from the electrical world.

Welcome to AH,

Unlees you have powered loudspeakers (Speaker and amplifier in same cabinet),speakers are passive resistive components and are always ready to reproduce sound.

It looks that the problem you have originates in your Yamaha receiver. I suggest that you have it verified by a qualified technician.

You say you come from the electrical world. Then, you should know that soldered electric connections don't have to warm up and cannot be the source of your problem.

Seriously, I have no life.
Did this issue start from the beginning of this receiver? In another word, is this a new issue or it happened right from the initial setup of the receiver.

If it is a new issue, you may want to reset the receiver to factory setting, instruction should be in the manual. Then carefully recheck all the wiring, etc.

it all started a month ago when I bought it on ebay, from the beginning it worked like this, the payment was by transfer, neither ebay, nor the seller takes over, I already updated the firware, when I warm up I mean some chip dsp, There is a bibliography that said chip is on the network board. The question would be to find someone from the forum who has solved it, users Jscott and macro88 have described the same problem in rx-a2000, but I do not know how to send an email to consult them. The official technical service charges 50 euros for the budget, but if you had to change the network card (the defective chip some say is on that board), the cost would be very high. Let's see if any user has experienced something similar. Thank you very much for the quick answer.

Are they members here? If so, cursor on their avatar, block shows on right side "start conversation" and follow that link. It is between the two of you, not public.

What I meant that it is private is that what you say in that conversation does not show up here.
But, I think the members here would be interested how your problem was resolved, so let us know when it is fixed and how it was fixed.

This is not an uncommon problem. There is an LM timer chip that delays speaker connection to the power amps. This is to prevent startup pops damaging speakers.
Now the LM timer is set by the ratio of caps and resistors. If these components wander out of spec then the delay time can change drastically as it has in your case..

Check out accessories4less you can pickup a nice AVR with at least a one-year warranty probably for a lot less than to get that unit repaired.
