Hi, I'm trying to decide on one of these receivers. I assume they belong to the same class correct?
I can get either one of them for the same price. which one should I pick?
I've never tested any these myself, I'll be ordering them online. So I hope if anyone have experience with them, it would be great to get some feedback.

thanks a million.

Since no one can give me any feedback regarding the above, how about I ask another question: what's the difference between the RX-A1000 and the "revised" RX-A1010? Is it worth to get the newer version for $100,- more??

thanks.

5 Watts more output (stated anyways, maybe exactly the same) and 0.9 lbs heavier. The A1000 is selling around the mid $600 range right now, not sure if the A1010 is worth the extra coin but you could always download the manuals and compare them.

I was looking at the same two models a few weeks ago. I ended up with the Yamaha A3000. It was on sale.:D

I'm sure that the Denon is a fine unit as well. I doubt that you could go wrong with either.

just found out that there are NO authorized online resellers for the Pio Elite.
Pioneer states that Elites are restricted to sell in stores only. why on earth would they do that.

So I guess I'll go with the yamaha, which I can buy from online authorized dealers.

Question about the RX-1000: if I play mp3's from a USB stick, will it display the song info on the front display? can i plug ipod into the USB? or only throught the dock?

thanks.
