I recently purchased the Yamaha HTR-5860 receiver for $325 shipped. It is a new unit purchased through an authorized dealer, Electronics Expo.
This receiver makes a good entry to mid level unit and includes features like auto setup, PEQ, 7 channels of amplification, pre-amp outputs, presence speaker outputs, and XM radio. The HTR-5860 model also equivalent to the Yamaha RX-V657 model.
