Yamaha HTR 5250 - Adjusting Speaker Output

Seemed to have lost the really lame remote that came with this receiver. Is there any way to adjust speaker output (volume) levels in a 5 unit surround system without the remote? My two rear speakers have their outputs set way too low...making them almost useless. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

I looked through the manual on Yamahas website & found nothing. I also looked on ebay for a remote. No luck either. You may have to contact Yamaha for a new remote!

It can be done in a real cumbersome manner by the various switches on the unit but the remote way is much easier.
