Yamaha HTR-3065BL vs. Yamaha RX-V373BL (Receivers)

Hello all,

I recently received a nice package in the mail but it was a bit bigger than I originally anticipated. I ordered just a Yamaha RX-V373BL receiver but received the Yamaha YHT-397BL sound system which includes the Yamaha HTR-3065BL receiver. I checked for about 15 minutes and from what I can tell these two receivers are identical. I wanted to confirm that with the experts here too though before opening the box least I find out I got a "lower end" model. Thanks!

They are more or less identical receivers with a few cosmetic differences. Both are entry level receivers for Yamaha from a power delivery stand point.

Thanks for the quick response! I figured they were pretty much the same. I was checking several websites and doing side by side comparisons and all the specs looked identical minus the slight obvious cosmetic difference.
