Hello,
I recently purchased a YAMAHA HTR-2071 receiver.
I have connected 3 consoles and an android box to the inputs.
The receiver is connected to the TV via ARC.
The consoles function normally.
When I choose the box I see this message:
This content is not compatible with your TV. Please connect HDMI OUT to the HDMI input jack that supports HDCP 2.2 of the TV. (Audio is ok, no image).
When I connect the box directly to the TV it functions normally.
The box supports HDCP 2.2 as the receiver does I assume as the message is from that.
I have tried every HDMI cable I own, I have restarted the box and the receiver and I even tried an HDMI splitter in several locations.
The installation:
TV: LG 50LB650V-ZN (1080p)
BOX: Technicolor 4K Android TV Box
RECEIVER: YAMAHA HTR-2071 (4K)
HDMI SPLITTER: GOOBAY AVS 47 HDMI SWITCH BOX 3 IN 1
The box is set to 1080p and the receiver "Upscale to 4k on/off" option is set to off (I have also tried on).
The TV and the box are up to date, the receiver can not be updated.
Finally, before the YAMAHA I owned a Pioneer receiver and I had no issues with the same installation (I replaced it because it was changing sources or turning off randomly).
Thank you.
