I am looking for a CD/DVD changer (5 or 6 disc) with both DVD-A and SACD capabilities. Both the Yamaha DVD-C750 and the Onkyo DV-CP802 seem like good choices. Any thoughts about which one is better, or any other competitors I should be looking at. Thanks in advance.

I've owned the CP-802 since last july and I like it alot. When I purchased mined there were not a lot of universal players that had some sort of bass management for high resolution audio that were less than 700.00 bucks but this was one of them. The DVD-A bass management is somewhat flexible but the SACD one is set at a certain frequency(I forget which one it is). Also the interlaced picture is very, very good. I dont have a high definition tv so I can't use the progressive features on it therefore I can't comment on that part. Other than that it's a solid performer in my opnion.

Today you can probably get the Marantz DV-6500 for a reasonable price that performs much better than either of these units.

I own the 802 and all has been good. No problems or breakdowns. I can say the pic and sound are better than average but these things are subject to personal preference so you might not like what I like, but I can say it has operated as advertised with no problems and I use the 7.1 outputs option It seems like some others are are only 5.1 but if that is all you need it is not a big deal. Happy shopping.
