Yamaha AX-592 help please!

Hi everyone

I recently picked up a Yamaha AX-592 very cheaply and have connected it up to my pc (this is all I have with me at the mo that plays music) It works fine with the Pure Direct button pressed but as soon as I want to play with the Bass, Treble etc knobs, no sound will come out without the Pure Direct button being pressed. Any ideas?

Gads, it’s been a while since you posted but maybe you’re still lurking around here. I have the same problem (April 2020) on mine. Curious to know if you ever found a solution?

It works on mine. It sounds like the Pure Direct button is dirty or broken. You gotta remove the switch and clean it

Thanks. That and I cleaned the jumpers from Pre Out to Main In and I’m back in business. Most appreciate the reply.
