Optical HDMI can be a good idea for long runs but not needed for short ones. If they are like optical audio cables they can be fragile.
Those linked are not the new ultra spec, only older 4k.

If you are less than 15 feet you don't need an active cable. Ultra certified cables up to that length can be had in the passive form.
