Thanks for the feedback, I don't use the prescence but do use the backs so that's OK. I turned off everything not needed but still register about 120 Deg with a meat thermometer on the Yamaha
. I do have sufficient air flow around it and since it hasn't been problematic I'm incilned to let it ride.... I wonder what work the Yamaha is doing on the surrounds. The amp is five channel with 100W X3 and 60 X2 for the surrounds which I don't have hooked up to the amp. I wonder whether using the Adcom would be more effiecient for the surrounds even though it boasts a lower wattage. This crap DOES get complicated, don't it? - Bob
