I was wondering about that when you said it, since the ones I saw when looking were alll B&S or some other name on the higher models, but not Kawasaki.

Our place is almost 10acres and it is pretty hilly and steep in some parts, but we are required to clear 100' from any structure. We have a Husqvarna shop in town, so I should be able to get any parts and attachments for this one and Home Depot also said we get free blades for life through them!! That's awesome.
I remember seeing that when I was looking at Huaqvarna. That's not too shabby of a deal. Now if I could only get free Gillette blades for life that'd be something.

JD @ HD are very low-end machines. I really did my research and was shocked to find the garden tractors JD builds. That God for the net. X300 is the bottom-end in the X-line. Each series (300/500/700) have sub-models as well. That is how I was able to find a 38" deck with a Kawie.

Just for the record, Husqvarna, Craftsman, Poulan/Poulan Pro, and a few others are all made by the same company.

Cub Cadet, Yard Man, White, Yard Machines, and Bolens are all made by the same company.

Ariens and Gravely are made by the same company.

Toro/Exmark/Lawn-Boy.

When Lawn Boy was 2-stroke, they were owned by Johnson/Evinrude. Those were some darn good machines. Still have one, but it is expensive to run these days. It does run though. I believe it's a '90 model.
