WTF is Google Analytics?
And
Why (TF) does it slow down the forum pages?

More than once today when trying to load forum pages I seemingy took forever. Sure enough my Fasterfox page timer showed it had been over 60 seconds to load one forum page. (We are on a T-1 here)

In the status bar it says "waiting for www.google-analytics.com" or something simmiler.

I am betting it has something to do with the Ads By Google that grace the forum pages.

Why can't you make it so the forum page loads regardless of the Ads By Google?

I didnt think it was even working on our site... it's a traffic monitoring tool... and no, it doesn't log your personal information and put anything on your PC... lol

I have a Mac, most of these internet stagehands don't even function when I'm trying to download a page.

I have a couple of yahoo mail accounts. Yahoo loads some really nasty ad engines on their e-mail account pages. On a slow connection, it takes forever to load. I think it is "imageplex..." or something.
