I just picked up an HK AVR 247.

You can win it by putting 180 on a best offer. I've had no issues.

Also A4less has the Marantz 4002 or 4001.

Yes I certainly agree.....although I did just get my HSU VTF2 MK3 in this Monday and I am LOVING IT!! Incredible sub!!

I actually just got all my in wall wiring done and all cleaned up so I will be posting a thread with pics tonight of the almost final (still have banana plugs from monoprice coming in) product.

It depends on the application. I would say a 703 would be better in most cases.

Oh yeah? Well you didn't link it. How do you like them stones?

My house is actually a retired missle silo. I live 150 feet underground in the bottom of it, drink Jolt cola, and watch reruns of Dexter on Showtime. There is a cover on top that is 6 foot thick concrete. I only come out at night once a week to catch my prey...

I think it is, considering I paid more than three times the starting bid. I really hate to let stuff go, but in this case it's not being used and I would use the proceeds to pick up a non linear tracking new/used turntable to archive my vinyl.
