Would these 2 subs work together?

Here is my situation, I currently run a 5.2 system.

My 2 subs are: Martin Logan Grotto (10") & a B&W AS2 (10").

I have an opportunity to sell my B&W AS2 & am thinking about buying an HSU MBM-12 (mid-bass module 50hz-150hz) Eventually i want to have an MBM-12 & 2 ULS-15 subs. But in the meantime how would the MartinLogan Grotto & HSU MBM-12 sound together. The Grotto has a rated response down to 22hz.

With the MBM behind my couch & Grotto up front by my mains, would this be a good buy?

(There are photos of my system under MembersGalleries "Timoteo"s 683 Theater" if those help)

They should work together fine. You will have a lot of midbass capability, that is for sure. You can cross your grotto over lower, and experiment with placement to ensure the grotto gets the most out of low frequencies. The MBM 12 is best placed as close to the listener as possible.
