Would the Behringer EP2500 have too much power for these?

It still gets me when the music is rocking, and look down and see the purtty blue VU meters barley hitting twenty watts. Ill use the "hold" to see the largest peaks, and almost never see them above 25w under normal listening:D

So you were using a grand total of 1 watt per channel to accomplish that, maybe 2 watts depending on your seating distance. It's not exactly an argument in favor of using an external amp. I hope the OP is listening.:D
;)

Oh come on, I really didn't want to argue! lol

I said my 99 dB (that's at 1m remember) speakers were running "well over" 100 dB at the seating position (that's 4m away in my case).

In my case, the well over was 116 dB with music input, not sure if things would have changed with white or pink noise, or a test tone.

Running the L and R channel from an A500 would only give me about 106-108 dB at the seating position. When I swapped the setup to run a bridged A500 into each main, I gained another 8-10 dB at the seating position. :D

So there. :)
