Seriously, I have no life.
"But that milk was for MY baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

OK, she should put a dollar value on it.

I was going to post that maybe she wants the cocaine back but I read the article and saw that her husband is a lawyer. Typical. "Apparently, the patient-care technician offered a tearful apology, said Jennifer's husband, Scott, an attorney who is handling the lawsuit. "But it's not enough," he added." Of course it's not enough.

The only reason I could see that she could be really harmed is if the one she fed is HIV positive or has some other communicable disease. That would be a valid reason, IMO.

I hope the patient-care technician counter-sues for mental pain and anguish.

Wouldn't the parents of the kid who was breast-fed by mistake have more of a case?

Wasn't this an episode of The Office? (dkane beat me by a minute!)

as a devil's advocate ...

the first feeding is a big deal for the mom-baby bond. i don't know whether it's psychological for both or health related for the baby.

"The mother suffered mental anguish"

The baby probably cried when he saw how small they were.

And, since an infant has almost no immune system, the mother is where this comes from, at first. If the wrong baby nurses from a woman and has an allergic reaction, it would be far worse than an damage "done" to her.

The baby wasn't going to turn down a meal- if she's too stupid to know her baby, maybe someone ought to sue her for inflicting herself on it, on the baby's behalf.

I think some of the blame might lie with the mom. After finding this picture of the tit-illating toddler, I think the mom should of had a clue something was amiss.

I once had the wrong nipple at "feeding time" , it's kinda ironic as that too involved a lawsuit/legal proceeding, I am indeed happily remarried now and never feed elsewhere. :)
