wiring my center channel

I was wondering about my wiring to my center channel. My klipsch center has two sets of wire bindings. My reciever only has on set of wire bindings for the center channel, but the reciever does have a second set of wire bindings for a second zone. (I'm assuming you would use the a and b settings. Would I get more sound out of my center channel if i wired the second set to the 2nd zone center channel connection.

I hope this actually makes sense

Your speaker must be set up for bi wiring. There should be jumpers between the two sets of speaker terminals.

Make sure the jumpers are there, and connect to one set of terminals from one set of center speaker terminals.

Do not connect it your way.

Thanks for the quick reply. The jumpers are the metal things that is screws down. For example there is one for the black wire terminals and one forthe red wire terminals. So i don't have to run extra wire? Do you have a picture of jumpers thanks for the help

I don't have pictures, but you have described the jumpers correctly. Leave them alone, run one set of wires and be happy!

Yes, you have most definently described this:

The "jumpers" are simply the gold plated connection running between the top and bottom binding posts. If you were to plug in wires to both sets without removing it you could quite possibly damage your speakers and or your reciever significantly.

TLS Guy's advice is superb, leave it be. I would suggest doing some reading on the subject of Bi-wiring, Bi-amping, etc. Right here is a good place to start.

Wiring my center channel - help pls.

Hello,

I'm new to this, however I need some help and it sounds similar to this issue.

I am installing my 4 in-wall / ceiling speakers for my 5.1 system and I had to purchase a Boston Acoustics center channel for various reasons. I already ran the wires through the walls prior to drywalling. I just noticed the center channel has two inputs (one black and one red), but I only have one wire going from my receiver through the walls to the center channel. Can I just put the same wire through both inputs on the speaker? Should I just put it on one of them?

Thanks in advance for your help!
