Looking for some Wireless rear speaker recommendations.
Moved into a older house and there is no way to get speaker wire to the rear other then having the carpet pulled up and running some flat speaker cable, and that will be a major pain.

Looking for something that puts out about 100w per channel and so far have only found these 2 - LG ACC98WK Home theater wireless speaker kit and the Panasonic SH-FX65 Wireless Rear Speaker Kit. Anybody have any luck with these two or any OTHER recommendations out there.

I can't find any specs on the LG unit at all, but after reading the specs on the Panasonic, I tend to doubt their power ratings.

As for the Panasonic, I'm not too sure it's still available but, even if it is, the specs aren't exactly what you think. Check out the 5th bullet for the "real" power output : http://www.etronics.com/p-38117-panasonic-shfx65-panasonic-shfx65-wireless-rear-speaker-kit-for-scpt650.aspx?dp=4212026222E6625253D38363F3A35703736373C3130303&svbname=403&bname=GoogleBase

There's not a heckuva lot of choice on these items simply because wireless speakers tend to not be as great as the idea initially sounds. The concept is wunnerful, but the re always seem to be some slighrt problems intergating them into a mid/high level system.

IOW, you may want to rethink this idea and get the wires run if you want it done right.

One idea you could think about is using a electrical fish (that's what we call it) it's a thin strong flat wire on a spool, electricians use it for pulling wire through conduit. You would just need to cut a small 1/2" cut in the carpet at speaker location, push this under the carpeting to reciever location (could go along wall to corner, then do the same along next wall to reciever, attach speaker wire and then pull it back through. It's an idea anyway. Or if the ceiling under this room is open run the wire under the floor, that's what I've done.

The only rear wireless kit I've had experience with is the Rocketfish Universal Rear Wireless Kit sold by Best Buy but available elsewhere like Amazon as well. It works fairly well but is rated at like 35w but it put out plenty of rear surround for movie viewing - 100w for surrounds seems a bit much ... IMHO... Audio quality was full-range and sounded decent for rear surrounds. Cost about $100.
