Win8 tablets are surprisingly nice but crippled in one regard...

No support for USB peripherals.

I don't get it. You can get them with a dock-able keyboard. They have HDMI out. Why would I want to take a tablet from the road, plop it down on my desk, connect an external monitor and then plug in a printer/scanner, FULL size keyboard/mouse, maybe a USB thumb drive etc...

Well, some win8 tablets do have full sized usb ports

They are hard to find... I know some of the Dell Venues do.

Most (if not all) Asus Transformers have full size usb port on the keyboard dock. I honestly wont buy win8 tablet without both (dock and usb port)
Also Acer Aspire Switch

and I can't fathom any 2-in-1 without full size usb port or two.
