A guy from work has a young son who tore one of his woofers. From the picture he showed me, it is a substancial tear, but not to the edge and not to the dust cap. Besides having it re-coned, is there a product made for that that you can apply like nail polish? I'm like Sgt. Schultz over here. I hope there is a good answer for him. He said its a six inch woofer.

It needs re-coning. See if a kit is available.

This is the model. They look like good speakers but I do not think they are Martin Logan. Looks like a center, but he has a pair. https://ascendacoustics.com/products/cmt-340se2-mini-tower-pair?variant=40521999646774.

Edit.... his are CMT-340. The photo he showed me looks like these though.
In that case he will have to contact Ascend Acoustics. They likely can recone that driver, or supply a new driver. They are a good company. That driver is discontinued, but they may have parts or still have some drivers. If they don't it is new speaker time for your buddy.
