I have zero knowledge of power and thought this would be a great place to ask based on the knowledgeable answers to other posts in this section.

My question is whether or not this will provide adequate surge protection for my amp (Peachtree Decco) and if I will somehow damage my amp if I use this product. I currently have the Decco plugged into the pigtail and a Squeezebox plugged into the other side (not shown in picture). I could not hear any gain in sound quality from the "3 stage filtering" (wasn't expecting to) and also could not hear any loss in sound quality.
I realize there are many talks regarding power filters on this site. My questions are really only concerned with these specific industrial copier power filters and if they are appropriate for audio use. Any help or info about using these types of power filters/surge protectors is greatly appreciated.
