Will this hsu sub fill my room with bass?

You might think you are disagreeing with me, but you aren't. Hsu and SVS are just promoting the purchase of dual sub systems by saying four times the power is the same thing as four times the output. I guess you can mean that since output isn't strictly defined, but most people who are into audio tend to think of output as amplitude, not power intensity, so Hsu and Mullen's statements are a matter of a sales pitch really. If you press them on this point I think they will agree, perhaps reluctantly lol.

But I agree that dual subs are well worth getting, and in many circumstances two good subs can be better than one great sub, but poor me, I only have three pair instead of four like fancy-pants you. When I win the megamillions lotto tonight as I surely know I am, I am going to finally build my ULS-15 line arrays that I have always dreamed of, and then you will be sorry!

I win the lottery every day, $2 at a time, since I don't play.... money saved is money earned...

I don't know the technical mumbo jumbo, but it sure "feels" like 4 times the output... I only have 4 pairs of subs, but I still have a few single sub systems, like my PC system and my master bedroom system only have one sub each.. I have 10 subs in my house hooked up and a couple in their boxes in the storage room {nothing great a martin logan, energy, polk, ect.... Yard sale time I know, but I am a pack rat...

The LV12R is not a good single metric point by which to measure all of Rythmik from my friend :)

Yes sa...

I have heard a couple of them including the older 15" model before the 15hp, wasn't super impressed with that one either, I'm not saying the lv is a bad sub, just saying I like the vtf2 better. I have heard subs that I wouldn't pair with a $50 set of bookshelfs and the rythmic is not in that category, they will make anyone who ever buys them happy, until they hear the vtf2, lol... Just kidding, they are much better than most and like I always say the ID co's like svs, hsu, rythmic, ect make great subs for the money...

So? Did ya win??? :D

I've started on my line array as well...I have one ULS15 so far...gotta start somewhere, right?? I'm trying not to believe in the benefits of multiple subs since I didn't win either, but as much as I like my Hsu, I can't imagine the other major ID brand ones give much away to it, if anything.

I didn't play, so I didn't win. I am a big believer in statistics.

Good luck on your line array, you only have to buy 999 more ULS's. The ULS-15 incidentally has the right dimensions to make a line array work, if you were so inclined. From an article on line arrays:
At frequencies below 100 Hz (wavelength of 11.3 ft) the drivers in a line array will start to become omnidirectional, so the system will not conform to line array theory across all frequencies. It is theoretically possible to construct an audio line array that follows the theory at low frequencies. However, the array requires more than 1,000 fifteen-inch drivers, spaced twenty inches center to center, to do it.
What's neato about a line array is that instead of a 6 dB loss of amplitude for a doubling of distance, you only lose 3 dB. Surely such an performance advantage is worth buying 1,000 subwoofers. Since the ULS is priced at about 1k each at the moment, it makes the math easy, you only need to spend almost exactly one million dollars to get a functioning ULS-15 line array. By the way, that stack would end up being just a hair over 1/2 kilometer in length. Here is a picture of a building that is just a hair over half a kilometer, the Taipei 101:

I like to call the lottery a government imposed tax on those who are bad at statistics.

I'm guessing you have bad luck. I have good luck so I'd probably come out ahead. I know you probably don't believe in Luck, but having worked a few casino tables I can tell you it's a real phenomena and it sucks to have it as a Dealer. Nobody tips you when they lose.

Casinos know what the overall non-luck statistics are, and everything works out exactly for them...

You would need a pretty huge room for that NOT to fill it :) Your room, no problem. I've heard the VTF-3 in a room the size of yours and it was already fine. The Outlaw LFM-1EX is rated large room already and is an older version of the VTF-3.
If you're not listening to music I guess it's fine. I did hear the Outlaw before and to me it sounds like it's not in step with the rest of the band and still plays when the song is over. To me it's way too loose.
