So I had a box made for me and some of the inside of the port was not sealed. So I put some caulk in the edges to seal it. Will the sound be tarnished if I have some ridges of caulk on the inside of the port? Or will it be fine. The port is 3" x 16". Theres some caulk all the way across the 16" side.

You'll be fine.

If you are really worried, clean it up a little with a razor blade...

But you'll be fine.
