Hows about after starting to do reviews of TT's you guys head off & start a review section of tape machines,8 track, cassette & reel to reel;)

Every so often i'll get the table out & spin a record or two but after taking an hour to make sure everything is set up properly then another 15 minutes to clean the record im sick of it, then i start to remember everything i hated about vinyl, most of the time i only break mine out if i want to hear something very badly that has not made it to cd yet.

I did my time on the turntable & im glad technology has moved way past that medium, too much work involved inorder to get the best out of a TT.

Just think of the growing population of youth that are revelling in this newfound technology of past years and having them added to your readership.

I can just see it now, entry level turntable face off, Project Debut 3 vs Rega Planar 1 verses Goldrig (entry level).

Seriously though, I think that the interest fo turntables is greater than you first realize. I know they arent nearly as convient as CD from both a use and storage perspective but the sound is so difficult to beat. It took SACD and DVDA to approach their sound and these two formats seem to be floundering. It would be a cool thing to review if only quarterly or semi annually.
