Will a Denon 3806 or comparible drive Axiom M80's?

After reading a ton of reviews and such, I think the Axiom 80 Package will be an excellent choice. My question is, "will I need additional amps to truly get the full capability out of these speakers? Or should I go with the M60?

For a 2-hour movie at decent sound level you’re going to need separate amplification for the M80s. The M60s will perform well without.

Bi-amping?

Would this be true even if you bi-amped the M80s? That would provide two separate 120W channels to each speaker.

Get the 60's, the 80's are overkill unless you have a huge room or you are attempting to go deaf prematurely.:) My listening room is over 3300 cubic feet and the 60's have no problem filling it.

No sub... yet. On music the 60's do a great job, but with movies I really need to get a sub to fill in the bottom end. I just can't decide which one I want.

I asked this question a while ago but never got an answer so I thought I would ask again. If I ran Axiom M80s (4 ohm) using a standard receiver, say a Denon 3806, would it make it easier for the receiver to run the speakers if I bi-amped them?

That would provide, in essense, two amp channels to each speaker, rather than a single one. Would that make any difference?

I'd ask this on the axiom web Axiom Web Link

I'm a M60 owner and have spent a lot of time on the axiom web site. Everything I've read says the 3806 will easily drive your M80s unless you are trying to play loud enough to fill a very large hall with ear spliting sound. ;)

Home use ... shouldn't be a problem at all.
