Was she checked for concussion?

She wasn't and tbh it never crossed our minds. She seemed and felt fine, no obvious injuries. Something to consider tho. Her airbag did go off. We're going to call her neurologist tomorrow and tell him we suspect, she might have had an episode. I worded it that way so not to make her think that I think she most likely did. I got her to be okay with "maybe" and "might have", lol.

It didn't come painlessly tho... big ol' argument.

I don't think they can tell beyond 12 or 16 hours after it happens with an eeg or blood work. The blood work is only to check the concentration of meds in her system. I managed to talk her into calling to set up an appointment with him too tho, to explain what happened and see what he thinks.

I smacked my head on a rafter in '06- when I went in to have it stapled shut, the Dr asked if I had lost consciousness. I answered with "You're asking someone with a fresh head injury?" and he said "Fair enough". Then, when the candy-striper came in to clean it after and when she tipped my head down to see, said "Aw, did you hit your head?". Thinking of Jeff Foxworthy, I almost replied with "Nope- I stubbed my toe so hard it came out the top. Here's your sign".

Jim, while I truly appreciate the sentiment and even more so the level of respect you're showing I've been here long enough now that these guys know my sense of humor and I can take a joke. I'd better be able to take a joke. I dish it out pretty thick sometimes myself.

I'm not seriously considering doing that, I even joked about it myself, lol. It's okay man. I love all you guys.

We're working on it. Yesterday was spent mostly arguing about it, but she finally capitulated and things are calmed down now.

Humor is one of my ways of coping with stress. It relieves the pressure and as long as no one is being malicious or just straight up mean I'm perfectly okay with it and it doesn't hurt when I get a chuckle out of it here and there.

Pogre, quick question........ have you ever witnessed your wife when she was going through one of her seizures ? I ask this because, if like my wife' she has no real recollection of what she is actually going through.

By me accompanying her to the doctor and acting out exactly what she was going through it made all the difference in the world with respect to proper medicine/treatment. This was over 15 years ago and now one incident since !
