Well that answers the age old question. How do you destroy a $200 pair of speakers and keep them in working order? Cover them with god awful synthetic red turf and re-grille them with skull and crossbones nylons....

They have been trying to sell them for a long, long time. I saw them for sale months ago.

As for the wallpaper, think about it: The person is in Montana, far from the beach, with long, cold winters. The wallpaper gives them something different than what they get looking out the window.

No, the wallpaper is cool. It just looks like it's melting. The whole thing just looks like a bad acid trip. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.:D

To each their own.

But if you're gonna do that to some speakers, you should understand that they are yours, you are the only one that will appreciate it, and don't try to sell them later.

If the grill cloth was book matched, I'd be all over them... Just kidding.

Looks like they're wrapped in Elmo pelt :) "Shhhh, I'm hunting Elmos..."

Its like the dumb car people who fabricate these weird, one off, ridiculous looking cars and then expect someone else to appreciate them and pay for the labor. If you didn't build it for someone else to look that way, don't expect anyone else to be interested. That said, they'd definitely be a conversation piece lol :)
