Why does it say TrueHD with Dolby Atmos? Is it my speaker setup?

lovinthehd Audioholic Jedi Oct 31, 2022 #2 Well Dolby Atmos is metadata on top of TrueHD essentially so assume that's why your signal shows such, and if you don't have the ability to play Atmos you'd get just True HD. You're playing in Atmos, tho.

William Lemmerhirt Audioholic Overlord Nov 1, 2022 #4 As hd said, trueHD is the container for Atmos. It will still say that on the input side even without an Atmos setup(which I see you have) but the output will say Dolby surround, or dts neuralX etc.
