Why can't I be happy with what I have!!!

Is this normal?

Yes. You are an enthusiast, and acting enthusiastically. It strikes many people, usually men, and can happen in any hobby.

Ever see someone with a $60,000 custom chopper that can't be ridden on the highway? = custom bike enthusiast

That guy with the '67 Camaro with 20" wide tires and the blower sticking out of the fiberglass hood? = Hot Rod enthusiast

There is no cure except to get into a hobby that doesn't intrest you at all. But what doesn'ty intrest you might change, my dad went from houses (house builders are notorious for "upgradeitis") to cookware! Ever see a $5000 collection of ceramic-enamled cast iron bakeware outside of a restaurant? I have, and it doesn't make his cooking any better either!

Because you're INSECURE!!!!

I feel like such a sucker. I have upgradded my system a few times now, and each time I do it I get a stronger earge to upgrade another part. If its not speakers, then it a new processor, dvd player, going from a reciever to seperates etc. I do have a picture of what I eventually want, but want it so much that I am barely happy with what I have. I spend more time listening and watching for flaws, then I do enjoying the performance of what I have.

Now Stop It!!!!
