Why are there so few internal photos of A/V receivers?

Out of curiosity I checked my SR7010 and sadly it's made in Vietnam, nothing wrong with Vietnam just wish it was made in Japan.

They should standardize the serial numbers like automobile VIN numbers if manufactured in different locations so we can choose which ones we want.
To get a made in Japan one you have to stick with the Marantz's top model prepro (AV8802) or Denon's top models AVR (AVR-X7200W & AVR-X6300H), or either Marantz or Denon's higher end integrated amps.

I'm with you on this one it's like the tuner world came to a complete stop and the tuners have been completely ignored for any improvements.

Until I received my Marantz AVR which stated it has an HD Radio AM/FM tuner for superior sound quality. I thought it was all marketing bs hype but to my surprise the reception and sound quality is outstanding, I'm not sure what's inside the unit but they need to send me some internal pics so I don't have to open the unit. But I still have to tape the FM antenna wire to the wall lol old school is cool but this is pushing it.
Analog radio has been a single-chip solution from various manufacturers (e.g. STM, NXP) for years, mostly due to the auto industry, where the deployment volume is. That also means the top priorities will be sensitivity and signal discrimination, not necessarily sound quality, though the specs I've read for these chips are better than I suspect the stations themselves are natively. You should also keep in mind that analog FM radio has a limited commercial lifespan (other users covet the FM spectrum, as they do with analog TV), so investment in analog radio designs is probably over. And the chip manufacturers are focused on designs they can charge more for, like digital radio. If you really want a decent tuner, I recommend going on Ebay or Audiogon and finding a nice used Quad, Marantz, McIntosh, or Japanese high end discrete unit from twenty or more years ago. I've still got a Marantz 2110 (has a 'scope) with the original box in mint condition packed away I'll sell for $500 if you want it. ;-)

Well, Sorry but for Marantz SR70xx is not top-o-line
Marantz AV8802A and the Denon AVR X7200WA are made in Japan

and I will have an amplifier that looks better, sounds better and is built a hell of a lot better then an AVR.
That good for you if it works for you, but just want to add that "looks better, sounds better" are rather subjective. Some of us don't find even more expensive separates by Yamaha, and D&M sounding better than their top or near top model AVRs when driven within their limits. To me, relatively speaking, good quality source media (digital, disc, vinyl etc.), followed by the players, are the real weak links, not so such integrated vs top/near top model AVR.
