Who here have cans alongside their systems?

Sen HD500s, Beyerdynamic DT100s, and Shure E2Cs. The Shure's suck and I can't power the DT100s.

Sony MDR-V3: old as hell but I still like the sound of them.
They are getting a bit old (15+ years) and foam for the ears are gone, and I've had to repair the right side ear mount with a guitar pick.... don't ask. I'll have to take a picture sometime of these old things.

The MDR-CD900ST looks very interesting. The 7506 isn't quite my cup of tea.

Seriously, I have no life.
I do. I use them for editing mainly, especially if I have to do an old fashioned analog razor blade tape splice. Headphones are essential required equipment for that. I use Sennheiser 525s.

In days of old when I did long razor blade editing sessions I had a set of JW Juliets in the editing desk, and checked the final edits with cans and near field speakers.
