Ok, I have some questions to do with wires. Do I use the same 16 gauge wire that I use to connect my surround speakers(Polk RTi4, FXi3) to connect my Polk RTi10 floorstanding speakers? And I use a different wire to connect my sub right? Besides that I can use all the connections that I have already to connect my DVD player and VCR to my receiver right (the wires that have white, red, and yellow)??

Well, yes, you can use that 16ga speaker wire to the floor standing speakers especially that they are most likely your front speakers and not very long wire needed.

The sub, powered I presume, would need interconnect cable with an RCA connector on the ends. No need for them to be expensive, and not Monster cable:mad:
Depending on your receiver, your DVD player could use a digital cable for audio, but that cable is the same as a video cable, again, no need for expensive cables.

The VCR is as you indicated: the yellow is for video, red&white for analog audio. Red is right channel for easy memory:D
