I desperately need help with regard to which voice coil is run by which terminals? My sub is 4ohm DVC and my amp is capable of either 4 or 8 Ohms. I can not run it at 2 ohms.
I've lost the "series jumper" that came with the sub, I need to know what that jumper jumped, so I can wire it up to achieve the same intended use case.
I'll attach two pics, the wiring diagram from Alpine explaining how to Wire it up for 8 Ohms (if you have that jumper) and the diagram I've come up with, that does no require the jumper. If I know what I'm talking about. I just need someone smarter than me to confirm or debunk my plans before I connect anything, I can't risk damaging my drivers.
PLEASE HELP !

Your hand drawing is correct for an 8-ohm load to the amplifier.
