While the BJC LC-1 cable is very high quality, I found that due to the long strain relief and weight it has a tendency to put a lot of strain on RCA jacks when unsupported, for example when plugged in to a plate amplifier on the back of a subwoofer. Carrying over the trend of broadcast-quality products from Blue Jeans Cable, I started purchasing RCA and speaker cable from Markertek.com which carries a very large selection of broadcast and recording supplies. Their "TecNec Premium RCA Male - RCA Male Audio Cable" can be purchased for just over $1/ft and is of more than sufficient quality for use with subwoofers. The cable itself it fairly light, the insulation is very flexible, and the spring-style strain relief works well without adding too much length to the connector.
